Hi,
I was handed an excel file with names and dates for genealogy purposes.
Normally the original document is a .jpeg or .tif representing e.g. a prayer card image.
The filename is in one of the columns. Upon selection, I can show the image, it's on our server.
This time the filename column is a hyperlink to another site, known to me (username and password)
If I click on the hyperlink, it opens the other site, asks for username and password (= manual intervention), and shows the original document.
How can I automate this, so the users in my search program see the doc immediately , as a pop-up window maybe ?
but without having to enter username + pw: they might not have one.?
Any ideas ?
Paul
