Im actually quite surprised to see it. I thought it was going to be a no response like the IRC maintainer issue. But nope.

A few months ago i emailed back and forth with someone maintaining python.org site. I requested that our website be added into the community of forums and a new category of forums be added. Apparently the verdict is in and my request was accepted as there is now a new forum link in python.org community with our link to .io and an archived link to .org, as well as other forums.

Based on Google Analytics, that really put us on the map. Up to 10 times as many referrals from python.org than there is from our old forum. And obviously a large spike of new users and returning users.
