Wondering about a External Website

I couldnt find a better place to post this: Before I did python I was using a simple browser based programming language, scratch.mit.edu, I was wondering if there was anything in Python that was like one thing you could do there, Collaborations, this link explains: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/10/ bassically Scratch users come together and help with projects for one common goal completing the project together, no profit... if there is send me the link...

we have a github for users to come together and work on projects. If you would like to start something new i can make a new repo.

For each module there would be regular users that could have projects just to learn. For example, pygame. You could find other pygame devs from this forum/pyweek/pygame reddit/pygame.org,/etc. and create games together. In fact I have done this with multiple projects 1/2/3. Each 3rd party library would in theory have such projects.

Let's say I want to make a Pokemon Game? Where would I find the other developers with the same interest. Because I dont know where to look.

finding 10 people can be hard, especially for a specific game type. For pygame, you might want to try to advertise on reddit pygame community which is /r/pygame. Its best to show some people some code to let people know where you stand in terms of your "coding expertise".

If you made 1,000 text games it wouldnt really help in terms of learning GUI coding. The only way to learn it is to jump into it.
