Apparently by disabling all the plugins the theme for the syntax codebox changed? Note i did not modify the server files .... i figured it would try the plugins first.

Okay black again :s! 
MyBB may have taken backup of theme when it was black,
shall fix it back to normal when i come home.

It definitely keeps track of server file changes to the core files

Back to default theme,
backup of this theme on server is theme.bak_nobar.

can you describe this process in case this happens again. How to switch the themes? This one plugin is unlike the others...and i didnt have my hand in 100% of it so im a little unsure.
