Web interaction for fetching data from a static page

Hi! i am new to scripting still on the process of learning.

I want to write a Python script to interact with a static pages.

Example:
I have 100 procedure documents and i want to input one or more keywords so output of the script should display all of the matching procedure documents.

i am not sure how to start this and whether it is possible to do it, so i need help and motivation on completing this assignment please.
