Voice Authentication/Voice BIometrics

Good day!

I am thinking of a project for my Digital Signal Processing subject and I thought a voice biometrics is doable.

I have searched some articles and references on how voice recognition works and it is kind of straight forward.

I am asking for some help and insights on how should I start with my project.

My goal for my project is to have the "user" to register first their username and have both numerical and voice passwords.
Then be able to log in after that.
