MySQL problems

We have been having a lot of mysql errors lately. Different ones. 99% of the time the problem is resolved by simply refreshing the page. The other 1% of the time mysql may actually crash and will be restarted within 5 minutes. 

Our goal is to have 0 downtime and any downtime is bad. We are trying to resolve the situation on another private thread due to sensitive information. 

How you can help as a user is to post information here. It might be useful to know when, how often it occurs, what the actual error is, if there is a common action that ignites a specific error, etc. Especially as settings get changed. 

Feel free to leave suggestions if you are knowledgeable in mysql.
