Our goal is to have 0 downtime and any downtime is bad. We are trying to resolve the situation on another private thread due to sensitive information.
How you can help as a user is to post information here. It might be useful to know when, how often it occurs, what the actual error is, if there is a common action that ignites a specific error, etc. Especially as settings get changed.
Feel free to leave suggestions if you are knowledgeable in mysql.
Just got another one:
Output:MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.
SQL Error:
2002 - Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server
Please refresh the page, and try again. If this does not work refresh the page in 5 minutes. If all else fails please contact an admin on IRC to inform them of this error.
Refreshing the page worked
