Hm... forum. They're everywhere, so this is just another.
This is why I've voted for NodeBB. Also, in my opinion PHP is outdated even it's still in development. It has some advantages over web frameworks but I'll bet the last.

If we can build a Python version, that'd be great, but you'll need close to feature parity before we make that change :)

The software doesn't matter as long as the data base is alright.
If we write a Python driven forum and if it's stable I think we can do a test drive. It would not harm if we try. A lots of ifs |
