SPYDER IDE is GREAT

Everyone should try SPYDER IDE under MIT license, its free and if you use linux only requires sudo apt-get install spyder3, (or your flavor's variation of that). Its very clean and has very advanced features. Much better than using standard IDLE or pluma. It has built in variable or object explorer, a shell on the same window, cell support, and custom color schemes for syntax highlighting.
