Depends how you use it. A scripting language is a programming language mostly used to glue together external pieces of code that do most of the work. You can do that in Python.
Unless noted otherwise, code in my posts should be understood as "coding suggestions", and its use may require more neurones than the two necessary for Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V.
