[Python Developer Wanted] ‘Women in Tech’ Worldwide Training Initiative from Oxford

We are currently looking for an awesome python developer (men/women) who would like to become a mentor for an outreach program called One Million Women To Tech.

I've volunteered as I would like to help with the global outreach in providing a free coding course for women as early as 14 yo. We are trying to spread the awareness to be able to encourage women/young girls from less economically developed countries.

Our Social Media signup is going very well – we’re aiming for 50,000 pre-registrations and after just 2 months is at 11,600 women and still, counting…

We need at least 50 and for now, we have between 28-30 who confirmed to take part.

We are asking for 2hrs/day Monday-Friday that is convenient for you.
If you can do more, you are welcome to but not required.

The program takes 12 weeks so we would like to request mentors to select a time period that is most convenient for you.

We conduct daily live stream from 9am BST for basic coding exercises & to engage the current audience who are active. As of today, we have reached almost 15,000 signups from 145+ countries.

This is why we really need mentors. :)
