are there any modules and/or functions and/or features that still exist in version 3.6 or 3.7 that are no longer considered pythonic and should not be used?
Tradition is peer pressure from dead people

What do you call someone who speaks three languages? Trilingual. Two languages? Bilingual. One language? American.
