Detect system mouse

Hi, I'm new to python.
May I know if python is able to detect system mouse from windows and check the connectivity?  I've been trying to find a coding method to write the above application but didn't encounter any.

Not sure if that is what you look for, but check pynput and pyautogui packages.They are crossplatform
