instead of "source code" or in many cases just "code" i want to use the term "recipe" (or whatever it is in the language being used).

i thought "solution" was when it solves a problem. oh wait, that explains "solution looking for a problem".
Output:
manager: the solution to our problem is Windows
me: was Windows created with our problem in mind? did our problem exist before Windows was created?
manager: no, no
me: then how can it be the solution to our problem? isn't Windows just a solution looking for a problem?
i think i'd still rather refer to the actual text that describes to the machine, what to do for a particular purpose as a "recipe'. but i can't think of what to use for the verb "to code".
