freelance workload measurement using Blockchain technology

Hello fellow Pythonistas,

my name is Rob from Germany, I'm a Python beginner and new to this forum, so please excuse if I said something wrong.

I just came up with a questionmark in my head.
I'm actually working on a business project, and therefore I might need the assistance of some non-corporate fellow. It is some internet research work, but in a different language.
Nevertheless, since I believe that this work would be considered as 'affordable' work, I would like to pay the fellow for myself on a freelance basis.
I already searched with ChatGPT for some tools on a Blockchain basis, there it found f.e. Sapien Network, Univation, Sweatcoin and TalentSnap.
But I believe, that is not what I want.
I imagine a tool, where you can say, f.e. 'I have done work x for you in the internet, and now I get y dollars from you for this service.'

So, my final question to you is: 'Have you anything heard of some existing (and legal) platforms/tools etc. with this purpose?'

Thank you for your answers. :) And please, excuse for my bad English. ChatGPT is not in this. Hand

Rob

Okay. Do you have an idea, where I can share my ideas and visions regarding new software projects? Finding some coworkers?
I already searched with ChatGPT, and it told me that GitHub might be good option for this.

Hey Rob, welcome to the forum! No worries at all, your English is perfectly understandable.

For what you're describing—a platform where someone can do work for you, and you pay them in a straightforward, freelance manner—there are several options that might be better suited than blockchain-based tools like Sapien Network or Sweatcoin. Here are some platforms you could explore:

Fiverr: This is a popular platform where freelancers offer various services at different price points. You can easily hire someone for internet research or other tasks and pay directly for their services.

Upwork: Another widely used freelance marketplace, where you can find professionals for almost any task, including multilingual research. Payment is straightforward, and the platform offers a secure way to manage transactions.

Freelancer.com: Similar to the above platforms, Freelancer allows you to post a project, review bids, and hire someone for your job.

PicoWorkers: If you’re looking for something more affordable and focused on microtasks, PicoWorkers is a platform where people complete small jobs for a small fee.

TaskRabbit: While primarily for local tasks, TaskRabbit also has a remote section where you can find freelancers for online research and other tasks.

These platforms provide a legal and secure way to hire freelance workers, pay them, and get your tasks done efficiently. I hope this helps!

Best of luck with your project, Rob!

Upwork is a good platform. I've been using it for a while, and have never faced any problems
