Hello to all!
I am more than excited to begin my journey in Python programming! I love Monty Python too!
After much research, I bought Singh's introductory book on Python, which seems both informative and fun to read.
I noticed today though that my copy has no page numbers. Is this a Monty Python thing?
Did I accidentaly receive a copy from a bad batch?
Has this happened to other owners of the book too?

It would be an unusual approach, to not have page numbers. Is it not indexed? If it is, then how does that work?

I don't know of any standing joke by the Monty Python team to which this could relate (maybe you have a collectors item).

I'd contact the publisher and ask the question.

No index. But the contents have page numbers, so they were meant to be there...

Couldn't find a mention in the book... I just saw at the amazon listing that it is a self-publication.
By the way, the book is the first to be mentioned in the "introductory books" section of this website.

Also, there are lots of typos in the book. This - again - makes me think I got a beta version of the book or something...

E.g. Imagine my surprise today when I read that the % operator is a "reminder". Turns out it gives the remainder (one "a" less makes all the difference).

Again, it's a pitty because I really enjoy reading the book.

You may want to contact the publisher to see if they can provide you with a replacement copy.

It's a self-publication. Only hope is to contact the author, but I haven't been able to find contact info.

I finally wrote a note to amazon, describing the serious faults of the books and asking for a refund (which I got).
But I strongly feel that the book should be removed from the "introductory books" section of this website! (link below)
