I edited the forum icon sprites (the discs) that notifies you when a forum has a new post or not.
Im wondering if this is too much over the top. Left it up to show by example, but if it gets voted out, can easily revert it.
from this
to this
or something like it.
If someone wants to create their own, can do that too. Here is the xcf for GIMP

I like the proposed icons, but I am not seeing them currently.

i was swapping them around, and got distracted with the mysql error issue
i swapped them to fit the other thread icons, lighter is read, dark/color is unread

I voted keep, but assuming the new ones (color is for unread, gray is for fully read)
Unless noted otherwise, code in my posts should be understood as "coding suggestions", and its use may require more neurones than the two necessary for Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V.

But for threads there is an additional info such contains posts by you, hot thread, hot thread new, read thread, unread thread, and all the combinations in between

I mean i guess i could give it a whack and see what the spritesheet looks like. IT took me like an hour to make the other one with 4 sprites in it, so it might take awhile.

ok so i made a new spritesheet. But the one set is hard to see (unread with a dot for your own comments) or index 4-7. Im not sure how to go around it, as there is both dark and light tints to get around.
IF someone wants to tweak it and see what they get the XCF is
